Maraú Penninsula - Tour to "Mata Fome", Tanque, Ilha dos Tubaräes and Bela Vista Hill - 5 hours
Leaving Jobel’s port by motor-boat we’ll follow the “Céu” river to the “Mata fome”, where our walk begins through the forest. It takes about 1 hour – 4,5km towards the fishermen village called “Tanque”, during the tour we can see how to make the cassava flour at “flour house”. Keep walking to the top and we have a fantastic view from Baía de Camamu. Back to the trail and the abundance of the region... cocoa, banana, jackfruit, sugar, clove, bromeliads and other plants typical of the region. More than a few feet away another flour house. Arrive in the village “Tanque”. From the harbor at Maraú river, the next stop is Ilha dos Tubarões (Shark Island), where we can see how the palm oil is made which is used for regional culinary. We take a canoe through the mangroves and a 15 minutes walking to the top of Bela Vista Hill. By a very short trail we walk down the hill to cross the lagoon by kayaking. This tour takes about 5 hours.

Salvador - Salvador by night with show at "O Coliseu" - 4 hours
Leave the hotel and go for a folk show with dinner. The show begins with the presentation of the "Orixás", the main divinities of "candomblé". Through the dances and enchantments you'll get to know the gods "yorubás" and its colorful suits. The spectacle continues with ballads of fishing men and the "maculelê", a fighting dance from Africa. Most part of the show is designated to the demonstration of the Capoeira, a fight introduced in Brazil for the African slaves as a defense way. Maraú Penninsula - Natural Pool and Bromeliads Forest - 4 hours
Depart in 4x4 towards Morro do Farol (Lighthouse Hill) the highest point of the Peninsula of Maraú, from where can be seen all the extension of beaches from Ponta do Mutá until Itacaré. The first stop is at Jardim das Bromélias (Bromeliads Forest), a peace of rainforest, The bromeliads can reach two meters in height. In the folow step we reach the base of Lighthouse Hill (or Taipu de Fora Hill). Walking to the top to enjoy a wonderful view. Afterwards departure by car to Taipu de Fora beach, a huge natural pools that are formed at low tide between the coral reefs. With crystal clear waters and rich submarine fauna, it is an excellent place for for snorkeling and underwater observation. This tour takes about 4 hours. Overnight.

Maraú Penninsula - Barra Grande and Ponta do Mut - 5 hours
In the afternoon we leave towards the north of Península de Maraú (15km), at Praia dos Coqueiros. From this point a short walk by the beach takes you to Ponta do Mutá, which is the northest point of the Peninsula, facing the ocean. There are beautiful rocks that arise above-water. A lighthouse marks the entrance of the bay where a Portuguese fort existed in the past. After 40 minutes we arrive at Barra Grande píer with clear sand and calm water. The village with has a very calm, relaxed atmosphere, of tranquility and a beautiful natural setting that makes any visitor enthralled. Maraú Penninsula - Islands of Camam£ Bay - 4 hours
Leaving Jobel’s port by motor-boat, we cruise the Camamu bay. As soon as we leave the port, we can already start to appreciate the beauty of the bay. From a distance we see the fishermen villages such as Sampinho and Taipus de Dentro, with their small hidden beaches and the island of Pedra Furada, a gorgeous island with a rock arch sculpted by nature and filled with palm trees and native vegetation. A wonderful sight to behold! When the tide is going down, sandbanks start to appear all the way around the island, making the place even more beautiful and creating amazing little "aquariums" and natural pools, where we can swim and observe the marine life. After diving, there is nothing better than enjoying some refreshing beverages and some appetizers at the bars bordering the beach. The tour takes 4 hours.
